Possible Visiting Aussie

Postby Jarjar4life » Fri Nov 10, 2017 9:24 pm

Hey peeps. Mick from the Southern Cross Garrison (NSW/ACT) Australia. I am looking at coming to your area around April 2018 for around 4 weeks...if I can get my ass into gear

I will be looking at doing the usual Museums, Arlington is BIG on my list as I am Ex Australian Army (Aviation). Being ANZAC Day (month) while I am there I will also be trying to get to the Australian Consulate for the day. Don't know what else apart from trying not to get shot by the Secret Service :jawa2 As of what else to do I will be relying on local knowledge.

I have a Shadow Trooper kit and also just starting to do a ESB Fett  If that falls apart I will have to do my alternate.....Jar Jar Binks   My daughter has completed her Jawa as well

Of course, if you have any troops while I am there I will be more than happy to Wrangle for you. I will bring my Garrison shirt just in case

Not sure what else to write save boring you to death but I am open to any questions and suggestions :darthvader :darthvader

Mick

I was an OH58A/C/D pilot about 15+ years ago. If I recall you all have a few A models in service still, yeah? We can always talk shop if you drop by for a troop in April. :)

I was in from 1989 to 2000. Our 'Kiowas' are training platforms now. Our 'Huey Gunships' have been retired. We have MRH90, Blackhawks, Tigers and chooks. Definatly will

Ooh, aviation stuff! Be sure to visit the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space museum in Chantilly Virginia. They've got an SR-71 Blackbird, the Discovery Space Shuttle, and tons of other aircraft. However, unlike the movie Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, there's no airplane grave yard outside :-( But there is a nice control tower style view of Dulles International Airport!

We're looking forward to your visit!

Hi there, will you be smuggling Timtams into the state? (Asking the real questions)

From what I've been told it's not the same tasting chocolate. Need to get the goods from the source.

Having had both a legit Aussie version and what we get here there’s barely any difference in taste.

Now if he wants to bring the orange ones we don’t have, I’m up for those :)
